Raising these wonderful Siamese since 1959.
Read Diane's Rules for a Happy Cat House.
TYPES AND COLORS: Traditional Applehead kittens are available all year. Sealpoint, Bluepoint, and Chocolate point coloring. Often a wonderful, low maintenance, long-haired Balinese kitten will be available.
DISPOSITIONS: Imprinted at birth, kittens are very sweet, socialized to develop their personalities, and raised loose in the house, not in cages. Excellent, sweet and loving companions, these kittens will entertain and impress you with their antics and intelligence. Most will retrieve paper wads, toys or soft objects with a little training.
HEALTH: Traditional Siamese cats are known for their robust health and long life spans. I have had cats live to be 18. It is not unusual for a few to live into their 20's. All adult cats have tested negative for Leukemia, FIP and FIV. Kittens receive their first series of vaccinations and worming before leaving the cattery.
GUARANTEE: All kittens are vaccinated and guaranteed to be healthy when they leave the cattery. Kittens are also guaranteed for genetic defects for one year after purchase. I will replace a kitten if accompanied by veterinarian certification of a congenital defect.
VACCINATIONS: Kittens receive their first vaccination at 8 weeks of age. Placement is usually around 10 weeks of age after receiving their first series of 4-way and Leukemia vaccinations.

BREEDING PROGRAM: Each queen is allowed to have two litters per year if she is in excellent health. I have a few nice queens and it is my goal to raise a few superior kittens each year.
FEEDING: Cats and kittens are fed the best combination of high quality professional foods, including Science Diet, Max Cat, Iams, canned Whiskas, etc. I also supplement with pressure cooked chicken as a treat for nursing queens and kittens getting used to solid foods. Vitamin supplements NuVet Plus and Missing Link are given to all breeding cats and kittens. (When I push a shopping cart full of cat food through a store I am often asked: "How many cats do you have anyway?" My reply is always: "Never enough!")
SHIPPING: Beginning November 18, 2013, I will be joining a very large number of breeders across the U.S. in no longer shipping pets. Due to a change in Department of Agriculture regulations for pet breeders that the USDA itself has interpreted in contradictory ways, it is impossible for most persons who sell pets to know whether it is legal to ship a pet that the buyer has not seen in person. Violations of this rule carry severe penalties. For our safety, ALL sales must take place face to face.
This ruling is going to seriously curtail the choice of those wishing to buy the pet of their choice unless you are willing to travel to your breeder of choice regardless of distance. As written this will also affect service animals being made available to those in need.
While we do understand the need to stop those who don't properly care for their animals, and who knowingly sell sick kittens and puppies, we already have existing state and federal laws for those issues.
If you would like to help us fight this bad choice of regulation policy, please contact me or your breeder of choice to see what you can do to help. It is YOUR right to be able to buy a cat or kitten from whoever you choose and to pick it up personally or have your cat or kitten shipped to you or to meet your breeder at a mutually agreed upon place to save you travel and expense. However, you only have that right if it remains OUR right to offer those choices.
PRICE: Kittens are priced from $500 to $650 each. Deposit to be negotiated and is non-refundable due to demand.
REGISTRATION: All kittens are registered with the American Cat Association, America's oldest cat registry.
STUD SERVICE: Orecatay is a closed cattery. To guarantee the health of all the cats, no outside cats are allowed.
REFERENCES: Read letters from satisfied customers. Photos of cats are available upon request.
